Master Class Training
What is the OPRA Master Class Programme?
The OPRA Master Class Programme is a series of professional training courses. These courses are intended to provide HR practitioners and managers with the skills required for strategic HR success.
How does the Master Class Programme work?
Each course in the Master Class Programme comes from a functional area of HR and, for every successfully completed course, participants receive a course-specific certificate and a predetermined amount of credits towards a Master Class Certificate. At different levels of Master Class certification, participants are entitled to discounts on subsequent training for themselves or others.
What training options are covered in the Master Class Programme?
The OPRA Master Class Programme covers the following key HR areas:
Selection
Structured Interviewing
Psychometric Test Administration/Interpretation
Assessment Centre Design and Delivery, and Assessor Training
Performance Management
Development Centre Design and Delivery, and Assessor Training
Employee/Team Development
Career Management (using the OIP+ and FutureSelves)
Emotional Intelligence
Team Building (using the JTI)
HR Metrics
Statistics Training for HR Professionals
How does the OPRA Master Class Programme differ from other training programmes?
Unlike other training currently available to HR professionals, the OPRA Master Class Programme has a strong research base. Training has been carefully designed to ensure delivery of best-practice principles against a pragmatic backdrop. In addition, most of our training courses are backed by product tool options, which enhances the transfer of training to the workplace and supports a real return on investment for the participating organisation.
What do I get on completion of an OPRA Master Class course?
All participants who attend an OPRA Master Class training course receive a certificate of completion, and a predetermined number of "credits". Credits are cumulative and, once a sufficient number have been gained, you are eligible for different discounts on a wide range of OPRA training, and Master Class consulting services.

Currently, the Master Class range of training is registered only with OPRA. Having said this, we are currently exploring the viability of NZQA accreditation for some of our courses.
