Co-founder of OPRA Psychology Group, Sarah is responsible for the overall execution of OPRA’s strategy, sales and marketing initiatives, and provides operational support to our 20 staff across Asia-Pacific. Sarah holds a degree in Education and Music, Master of Arts (Psychology), and PhD from Victoria University.
Sarah’s research interest is in the onboarding of staff and the establishment of practical interventions to maximise employee integration and organisational ROI. Throughout her 20 year career, Sarah has been responsible for the design and delivery of consulting services to an eclectic mix of private and public sector organisations, and is frequently called upon to guide the selection of Chief Executive, General Management, and Director-level roles. Sarah particularly enjoys designing solutions to assist organisations better identify their stars, predict a surplus or talent gap, as well as lift performance in a measurable way. She writes the report text for all of OPRA’s psychometric tests, and has a hand in the quality assurance of any new products we design. Most recently, she wrote the content for OPRA’s new website, print, and online marketing material.
Long-standing relationships exist inside the emergency response, primary industries, and recruitment sector. Sarah is a published author and guest speaker at HRINZ events, and is an advisor to Auckland University’s Post-Graduate Psychology programme. Outside of work, she enjoys walking, spending time with her two young daughters, and is an enthusiastic home cook.
