Kiera is the Human Resources Coordinator for OPRA Psychology Group in Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Management and Human Resources from the University of Newcastle. Prior to working at OPRA, Kiera was a property manager in the real estate industry for five years. During this time, she managed a portfolio of over 280 properties and maintained a focus on stakeholder management and project outcomes. Kiera also has extensive experience in the hospitality industry; with specialisation in event management and customer relations.
At OPRA, Kiera plays a key role in client account management and project coordination. She is an accredited user of the GeneSys psychometric system, and provides technical support to all GeneSys users. Kiera is committed to ensuring all projects run smoothly and in particular, was proud to be part of the NSW PSC Aboriginal Career and Leadership Development Programme.
Kiera has a passion for community initiatives, particularly animal welfare and is the volunteer Human Resources Manager for Hunter Animal Rescue. This is a local not-for-profit organisation that rescues animals from local pounds, and provides them a temporary home until a more permanent home is found. She holds a position on the Executive Committee and is responsible for facilitating induction sessions, managing the recruitment process, and has a strong focus on volunteer retention management.
