Career Development

This 1-day course is designed for busy and competent practitioners who want to assist and advise people in their jobs, and to help people interested in finding or changing jobs. This hands-on training course concentrates on coaching individuals through career development options and draws on two assessment tools relevant to this domain - Futureselves and the Occupational Interest Profile (OIP+).

Learning includes:

An introduction to career management
Interpreting the results of the Occupational Interest Profile and the FutureSelves assessments
How to integrate the findings of the two assessments and identify key themes.
Use report output as the basis for leading career management discussions

On completion, trainees will be able to effectively facilitate career transition discussions and analyse the FutureSelves and Occupational Interest Profile tools.
