About Us

OPRA was established in 1997 in response to one core need, to provide practical human resource solutions to the NZ market that are both commercially sound and supported by research. To date, OPRA has continued to deliver on this need by helping hundreds of clients positively shape their future by delivering customised HR solutions that support strategic organisational goals.

As one of New Zealand’s largest, specialist Industrial and Organisational Psychology teams, we now have offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, with remote offices in Melbourne and Sydney to service our Australian client base.

Our Founding Mission and Vision

OPRA’s mission is to provide “expert”, “results focused” advice and results that have a positive impact for our clients. This is achieved through continually striving to blend the best of contemporary research with practical application. Our actions are always driven via our overall vision, to be recognised as making a positive impact in the way Industrial and Organisational Psychology is viewed globally through the education of HR and I/O practitioners around practical, robust, long term based solutions.
