Resiliency Training
WHY MANAGE STRESS ... WHEN YOU CAN OPTIMISE RESILIENCY?
No two people are exactly alike. Neither is their stress nor the way they respond to it. Research shows that a certain amount of stress is necessary to maintain vitality and enthusiasm for life. Too much stress however can cause health problems, impair performance and reduce overall quality of life.
Our ability to manage stress depends on how resilient we are. Resiliency is our ability to adapt or bounce back after a disappointment. Our level of resiliency will determine how effectively we manage stress and maintain health and vitality throughout our lives.
Synergy Health's Resiliency Training programme focuses on the physical, emotional and psychological states that determine performance in all areas of our lives. It provides people with the skills to achieve their "Optimal Performance State" - a state where they will be energised, focused, enthusiastic and work persistently and productively, while maintaining the essential balance in their lives.
Programme Outline
Nature of Stress Introduces the participant to the nature of stress and reinforces the importance of taking personal responsibility in proactively managing stress. The programme reviews recent and current stress models, the sequential nature of the stress process and the importance of early identification of stress indicators.
Optimal Performance State This programme focuses on the ability to effectively manage the following states:
Physical
Emotional
Psychological
A Framework to Optimise Resiliency A key point of difference in Synergy Health's Resiliency Training programme is its focus on participants learning a range of practical strategies that are personalised each individual's specific needs. This is in contrast to simply providing a range of generic stress management strategies. Because of this approach participants can more effectively manage their stressors.
