Job Analysis Tool

The Common Metric Questionnaire (CMQ) is a comprehensive, standardised, online job analysis tool. It is based on a "common metric" strategy, that enables the user to identify the key competency requirements of a particular job. Competencies are grouped in terms of abilities, personality traits and additional characteristics. The CMQ provides an in-depth analysis of the job, in such categories as: internal/external contacts, decision-making, work context, knowledge areas, equipment use, and supervision.

Using the CMQ

The CMQ is an entirely web-based questionnaire that can be completed by an individual user, or by multiple users. The reporting function allows users to produce individual and/or group-aggregated reports.
